nCA Submits Innovation Gap and Solutions Framework Report to Province
PTAC Recognizes Importance of Nano - Inks MOU with nCA
nanoCluster Alberta has submitted a report that outlines the gaps that inhibit nano-related companies' abilities to take products to market. The report is based on an industry stakeholder session held in October 2017, and separate interviews with academia and service providers.

The report was submitted to the Province and will be used as a foundation to build an innovation commercialization framework that was also proposed. The framework will be released November 2017 once further stakeholder input and operational details are put in place.

As part of the development of the innovation commercialization framework a Memorandum of Understanding between nCA and the Petroleum Technology Alliance of Canada (PTAC) was inked, signifying an important element in helping to create needed market pull that will help guide the business and innovation efforts of Alberta nanotechnology companies.

PTAC represents 80% of active energy companies in Canada. The organization recognizes nanotechnology innovations as the next great enabler of its sector.

Details of PTAC's involvement with nCA will be uncovered as the framework is rolled out.
